MEREMA 2nd Edition - International School on Mantle Dynamics

The Italian Group of Petrology (GNP) of SIMP (Italian Society of Mineralogy and Petrology), in collaboration with the PhD programs of the Universities of Pavia, Ferrara, Genova, Milano, Modena-Reggio Emilia, Parma and Torino are organizing the International EMU School on Mantle Dynamics MEREMA 2nd Edition (30 March - 2 April 2020, Sestri Levante, GE), following the success of the MEREMA 2017 Winter School.
The MEREMA II School aims to assess the present state of knowledge about the structure, chemical differentiation, and dynamics of the mantle as a whole system, acquiring information from different methodologic approaches and disciplines (petrology, geochemistry and geophysics). The school is open to master degree and PhD students and to young researchers in Earth Sciences; the maximum number of participants is 50, the pre-registration deadline is October 15th, 2019.
